SEVADER TURN THE PAGE FOR ‘THE LENNOX CHAPTER EP’

Australian production duo SEVADER return to Club Sweat to drop a pulsating EP release ‘The Lennox Chapter’. Showcasing their aptitude for making people move, the three track EP blends trademark elements of jackin’ house with minimal deep tech vibes for a body of work that will be sure to soundtrack some sunset vibing feel-good energy. With Australia coming out of hibernation, ‘Ghetto Lennox’, ‘Time For You’, and ‘Growing Light’, find their abode providing that warm shimmering slice of bountiful beats.

On the inspiration behind the EP, SEVADER said, “The Lennox Chapter EP is an ode to the most recent chapter in our lives, both literally and figuratively. We moved to Lennox Street in Richmond during the peak of the pandemic in Melbourne and the time spent in our home studio was very formative in terms of our sound. These three tracks really bookend our inspiration during this time, from classic house riffs to vocal chops, and shoulder-bopping grooves. The Lennox Street chapter officially ended for us in July but we’re excited the tracks can soundtrack the next phase.

The Lennox Chapter EP’ accentuates everything Josh and Sean, who make up SEVADER, have gained a reputation for, soundtracking open-air summer affairs. The EP follows on from two previous Club Sweat releases ‘Days Like This’, and ‘Persian Rose’, both of which were supported on triple j’s Friday Night Shuffle. Furthermore, the pair have released on international imprints such as RÜFÜS DU SOL’s label Rose Avenue, Lacuna Recordings, and Reptile Dysfunction. The duo have been put on remix duty for the likes of Cassian, Yolanda Be Cool, Thandi Phoenix, and POOLCLVB, while their originals have been supported by the likes of John Summit, Riva Starr, Claptone, and more. Equally skilled behind the decks, SEVADER have warmed up the stage for artists such as Touch Sensitive, Secondcity, and Doorly, while making festival appearances at Your Paradise and Arcadia alongside the likes of Set Mo and Luboku.
