SEVEN label boss CRYME returns with the ‘Laser Beam Dancer’ EP

An abstract design featuring swirling, reflective patterns in silver tones, with a prominent black circular label in the center that reads 'SEVEN' and 'Laser Beam Dancer'.

Berlin-based DJ and producer CRYME returns to his SEVEN label with the ‘Laser Beam Dancer’ EP 16th October 2026, marking his third solo outing on the imprint alongside a recent EP for new sublabel A2.AUM. Co-founded by CRYME and his partner and manager Glenn Elliot, queer, FLINTA-leaning label SEVEN is dedicated to inclusivity and platforming underrepresented artists, having featured artists such as Roza Terenzi, Baka G, Stef De Haan, Tal Fussman, Cinthie, and many more.

A multi-genre artist who explores the atmospheric spaces between House, dub, and Techno, CRYME is one of Berlin’s most electrifying talents, with an impressive run of recent releases on labels like Oddyssee, HE.SHE.THEY, Happiness Therapy, and SEVEN sub-label A.2AUM.

CRYME’s ‘Laser Beam Dancer’ EP moves from fun, minimal tech on the A-side to a dubbier, spacier B-side, whilst never losing that sweat-soaked energy. ‘Laser Beam Dancer’ and ‘Pinky Paradise’ set the tone with futuristic, minimal house foundations – both are polished dance floor cuts, with playful bubbly textures and the odd vocal flourish. ‘Lovender’ introduces some dubby, reverberating synths which are lightheartedly teased in and out, while ‘Saiph Altar’ rounds out the EP with a softer bassline and hypnotic underwater textures.
