Rising Sheffield duo Lowtones return this summer with their electrifying new single ‘You’ve Got Me’, out 18th July 2025. Built from the ground up in the basement of their shared home, the track signals a bold evolution for the pair—Connor Berry and Flynn Hudson-Dean—who’ve fused indie rock with pop sensibilities to curate a deep, danceable groove.
With the sleazy cool of Parcels and the expansive production of Tame Impala, ‘You’ve Got Me’ is a woozy, low-end-driven indie-pop jam that oozes swagger and intent. From its hypnotic basslines to its sultry vocal delivery, the track pulses with late-night energy and irresistible rhythm.
“‘You’ve Got Me’ was written and produced in the basement of our shared house—everything was entirely done by us as a duo,” the band shares. “It captures a time of full creative freedom and late-night sessions that shaped a whole new sound for us.”
Entirely self-produced and self-recorded, the track marks a confident new chapter for Lowtones, who’ve already caught the attention of industry heavyweights like Reverend & The Makers and Steve Edwards (‘World Hold On’ with Bob Sinclar).
“Groovy, hooky and low-end loaded. ‘You’ve Got Me’ was made to move to.”
Accompanying the single is the official music video for ‘You’ve Got Me’, a moody, stylised visual that mirrors the track’s sleazy cool and hypnotic pulse. Shot entirely by the duo themselves, the accompanying music video places Lowtones inside Sheffield’s iconic Hallamshire Hotel and the very basement where ‘You’ve Got Me’ was recorded. It’s a gritty, immersive visual that mirrors the atmosphere and authenticity of their sound. The single plays like a love letter to the sleaze and spirit of ‘70s nightlife; dripping in groove, shot through with infectious hooks, and rooted firmly in the raw energy of the DIY spaces that have shaped the duo’s creative world.
With a mission to make people dance, Lowtones are carving a fresh lane in UK indie-pop with music built on chemistry, DIY spirit and serious groove.
