The song was released one week ago on October 15 and now Sheyda is inviting fans to experience her story in a more intimate through the music video. Directed by Richard Adam Jones and filmed in Unionville, Tennessee, the video draws viewers in with its stunning and simplistic energy, as well as her powerhouse vocals. The California native invites the audience to experience vulnerability, all while opening up about trauma and survival. From start to finish, Sheyda pours her emotions into her artistry.
The release of “Lungs” serves as the follow up to her debut EP, End of Summer Love, which includes her previous release “Wish I Could Want You.” The music video for the song has received nearly a quarter of a million views in just a couple short months. Earlier this year, the Nashville-based artist released her debut single “The Dragon” that takes on the topic of addiction. With each of her songs released thus far, the California native has always strived to spread meaningful messages through her vulnerable and insightful lyrics.
