Skream rounds off the year with a trio of Skreamizm shows in Glasgow, Amsterdam and London featuring a hand picked selection of artists spanning across genres synonymous with the UK tastemaker.
Kicking things off, Skream returns to his spiritual home of Glasgow on 8th October to play at the sprawling SWG3 warehouse. He will then head over to the Netherlands for Amsterdam Dance Event, where he will host Skreamizm open to close at Secret Project Festival alongside a stacked lineup that includes Sherelle, Kode 9, Prospa, Thys and more on 22nd October. Finally, he will take Skreamizm to brand-new East London space The Beams for a headline show alongside Partiboi69, Octave One, DJ Bone, Tia Cousins and Dr Dubplates’ EC2A Worldwide on 3rd December.
Elsewhere, Skream will perform at The Warehouse Project, Terminal V Halloween and Club Space Miami before the end of the year. On the production front he recently released ‘Trip’, his new collaborative single with fellow dance music don Boys Noize, and remixed ‘Pizza Boy’ by Everything Everything and ‘Tuk Tuk’ by Solomun.
Starting out as a pioneer of dubstep in the early 2000s, Skream has since become one of the most respected and versatile names from the world of dance music, headlining festivals worldwide, producing #1 records and releasing underground classics. This year his biggest release has been ‘The Attention Deficit EP’, a four-track project released via CircoLoco Records which featured close friends and contemporaries Jackmaster and Jansons.
One of the biggest and most cherished figures in the history of dance music is showing no signs of letting up.
