Where there’s smoke, there’s fire, but when it comes to Skrillex, ISOxo, Cristale, and TeeZandos, this “Smoke” is fire. The single puts an exclamation point on what, less than six months into 2026, has already proven to be an excellent year to be a Skrillex fan. In recent months, the OWSLA leader has steadily set longtime IDs free with the ease of a wishmaker tossing a penny into a fountain, granting “Bass Dhol” in February, “Duro” in March, and now, “Smoke.”
After circulating for several years – informally as “Killas” and previously with vocals from Jack Ü’s “Jungle Bae” – the collaboration arrives with a different topline but the same look-at-me energy and big, floor-filling presence.
When “fuze” landed to deserved fanfare last October, we didn’t need a crystal ball to see the potential for a follow-up. With “Smoke,” Skrillex and ISOxo deliver a cut that clears their own ever-rising bar, cementing their status as one of dance music’s most fun and fulfilling repeat pairings.
“Smoke” is out now via OWSLA/Atlantic Recordings.
