At the same time, it’s also a project that reaches back to a defining memory from much earlier in her journey: the night she met her soulmate on the dancefloor. The lyrics and escalating arps reflect the visceral feelings I experienced in that moment, while the track’s overall sonic energy paints a clear picture of where I’ve arrived as a producer and artist in the present moment.
