Ten years on from its original release, UK pairing Solardo return to Hot Creations to rework ‘Tribesmen’, the breakthrough anthem that delivered the duo their first-ever Beatport #1 and quickly established them as a leading name in a new generation of tech house music. First released in 2016, the quickly record became a defining track of the era, earning a lasting status across global dancefloors for many and recently surpassing 7.5 million streams.
“Hot Creations has always been our all-time favourite label, and from the moment we started over ten years ago, our biggest goal was to release music with them. ‘Tribesmen’ became our first release on the label a decade ago, and it went on to become our first Beatport No.1, opening the door for us to tour the world and build the incredible career we’ve had ever since. Rather than reshaping the track in full, the ‘10 Years On’ remix updates the original with the benefit of a decade spent refining their sound in clubs and festivals worldwide. The track’s iconic vocal remains at the heart of the record, but the groove lands with added weight, the drums pack a punch, and the synths and acid-dipped touches zip about the mix, reconnecting one of Hot Creations’ standout records with where Solardo sit today.
Since the original release of ‘Tribesmen’, the UK duo have grown into one of the genre’s most recognisable names, balancing success through their own Sola Records imprint, major collaborations, and relentless international touring. A decade later, their return to the record and the label where it all began closes the circle on a release that helped define both their rise and a key moment in Hot Creations’ rich history.
