Solomun has dropped a new Nina Simone remix.Out now on Verve Records, ‘Take Care Of Business’ is the first instalment in the label’s year-long Nina Simone series, which coincides with what would have been Simone’s 70th birthday.
“There are very few artists like Nina Simone who truly transcend time,” Solomun said in a press release. “This remix now comes from a place of deep respect for her work and voice, and the joy of engaging with it.”
Verve has also lined up Mochakk, DESIREE, Austin Millz, dublon, Supershy and Antdot for the remix series, which will feature new releases every month until the autumn.
