Emerging from Spain’s bustling underground dance scene, Novodisc has been honing a chunky, groove-led sound that finds its footing between Tech House and minimal-leaning House. With credits on top labels such as CUFF, Incorrect, Flashmob, and La Pera, his new school approach has found favour with the likes of Loco Dice, The Martinez Brothers, and Jamie Jones. Now, the Malaga-based producer and DJ enters a new chapter with his debut release for Junior Jack’s Adesso Music label, ‘Never Knew’.
‘Never Knew’ is a radiant Tech House groove, kicking off with funky rhythms and stripped-back beats. Wobbly synths and well-worked vocal chops enter the mix, leading to a mammoth breakdown destined for peak-time pandemonium.
