‘STARBOY’ RECEIVES LIVE PERFORMANCE FROM THE WEEKND AND

LIVE COVER BY PANIC! AT THE DISCO

Sunday night at the AMA (American Music Awards) saw The Weeknd perform his smash hit with Daft Punk “Starboy” once again to a raucous sing-along from the crowd in attendance. This marks the second award-show performance that has seen The Weeknd perform “Starboy” live following his performance at the MTV EMAs.

Emerging from what appears to be a glassy/ice monument, The Weeknd ad-libbed and sang his way into a rapturous applause and the crowd’s involvement with his performance of the hit record.

Interestingly enough on the complete side of the spectrum, are Panic! at the Disco who took over the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge earlier today to give us softer-rock take on The Weeknd and Daft Punk. Lead singer Brandon Urie might not have quite the vocal range that The Weeknd might, but him and the band still absolutely smash it with this live rendition.
