Los Angeles, CA – Friday, August 14 – Dutch producer Stef Davidse debuts on Factory 93 Records with his new three-track EP ‘Out This World,‘ a package of groove-driven minimal tech club records.
Rotterdam-based Stef Davidse is a producer and industry professional immersed fully in nightlife culture. Between his academic studies in Leisure & Event Management and working at renowned Amsterdam venues, Shelter and the Loft, he’s been picking up steam through minimal tech and deep house productions infused with his hip-hop and R&B background.
The title track “Out This World” is a jacking minimal offering highlighting his ear for memorable hooks and incisive arrangements. Soulful, smooth vocal hooks offer a sense of escape, floating above layered synth leads, shuffling drums, phaser-driven fills, airy textures, and fluid rhythmic movement. Following up, “To The Moo” maintains the momentum with a floor-ready tech house cut, driven by rhythmic percussion, crisp hi-hats, and immersive spatial sounds. Rounding out the package is “Do It Right,” a deep track featuring heavily modulated synths and immersive vocals that invite listeners to experience the music in its full splendor.
Stef has cranked out a handful of EPs for esteemed labels like Eastenderz, WYLD, You&Me, MicroHertz, earning tastemaker endorsements from Chris Stussy, Archie Hamilton, Franky Rizardo, Jamie Jones, Josh Baker, East End Dubs, Rossi, Sidney Charles. He has a busy summer tour in UK and Europe, including stops at Thuishaven, WYLD showcase at LAB 11, You&ME showcase at Depot Mayfield, Nexup showcase at Depot Mayfield, Interval at Glamorama, as well as Ibiza sets at Hï Ibiza, Eden, UNVRS.
“This EP represents a few diverse sides of me. ‘Out This World’ has this rolling, RnB-inspired vocal house energy it’s a track people have been asking me for for years, and Josh Baker dropping it in his Boiler Room set was a full-circle moment. ‘To The Moo’ is more UK garage/ tech-house, built for the dancefloor with a G6-style synth, it’s already been doing damage in my sets.
