Street Slang returns to Bambossa with a percussive house single, alongside a remix by label boss Harry Romero.

Infectious rhythm marks ‘Ancient Ones’ by New York duo Street Slang. The pair return to Harry Romero’s celebrated Bambossa imprint, following up their 2022 party starter ‘Cheeba’ on the label. ‘Ancient Ones’ gets remixed by Romero, who turns the original’s earworm organic percussion and cut-up vocal snippets into a hypnotic and wonky tribal trip.

Street Slang consists of Dom Tufaro and Scott Raymond, native NYC house aficionados with releases on labels such as Nervous RecordsJuicy Traxx and of course, Bambossa Records. Bambossa continues putting out quality house music, with its most recent EPs welcoming global electronic acts such as HoneyLuv, FreedomB and Ghettoblaster & Lucati.

I’ve been mentoring these two very talented producers/DJ’s Scott and Dominic, AKA StreetSlang, for quite a while now. It’s been a huge pleasure watching their sound develop and grow. ‘Ancient Ones’ is one of many dope tracks they’ve done and I am proud to have them on board once again. Oh… yeah.. and I did a remix” – HarryRomero
