Friday 31st July sees Surgeon and Troy drop remixes of Ritzi Lee’s Momentum LP, with ‘Impact’ and ‘Stationary’ joining the new interpretations on vinyl and digital formats.

Released in 2023, ‘Momentum’ is Dutch Techno mainstay Ritzi Lee’s debut LP, joining his ‘Negentropy Series’ on Mord and bonefide anthem ‘Reverse Processed’ on sometime Symbolism parent label, Theory, as standouts in his catalogue.
The ‘Momentum Remixes’ EP kicks off with ‘Impact’, a strident distortion fuelled cut shot through with eerie held strings and relentless stabs. Surgeon’s remix of ’S-Waves’ sees the Birmingham legend roll out a pulsing, hypnotic trip that claps itself into intensity during its succinct 4:44 run time. The bleep driven ‘Stationary’ follows with jacking style, before Troy wraps things up with a sleek but thundering interpretation of ‘Friction’.
