Following releases on Spinning, Nervous, and Repopulate Mars with club smash ‘Sold My Soul’, Zurich’s George Z returns to Lee Foss’ label with the killer two-tracker ‘Starry Night’.
For the opening cut ‘Starry Night’ he works with Carlota Crey who adds intoxicating, swirling vocals over rock-solid drums. Sweeping white noise and tough basslines flesh out the groove as trippy melodies make for something both dreamy yet direct.
‘Understand’ is a collaboration with fellow tastemaker and Serbian artist Dujak. It is a high-octane track which will make the dancefloor sweat, while sci-fi sonics and muffled vocal samples peel off up top. It’s pacey and perfectly designed for maximum impact.
