Swiss live performer/singer/songwriter/producer Natascha Polké drops ‘ Heavens Will Fall ’ the sophomore single from her three track EP ‘ Into You ’, coming April 5 th on [PIAS] Électronique.

Recently rising from the Swiss techno underground to harvest millions of Spotify streams and join the revered PIAS imprint , Zurich born, London based Natascha Polké mixes her indie / folk – pop background with techno for a refreshingly creative sound . After moving to London to pursue a music MA immersed her in the city ’ s sounds and electronic music , winning the Roundhouse Rising competition led to her four – year residency at the iconic music/arts venue . Releases on the likes of PIAS, Anjunadeep, Einmusika, Stil vor Talent , This Never Happened and Gardens of Babylon , her live performances at Club Chinois Ibiza, Scorpios Mykonos, Hamburg ’ s Dockville and Amsterdam ’ s Gardens of Babylon … , with the likes of Parra for Cuva, Agoria, Tale of Us, Rampa, Christian Löffler, Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Miss Monique, have made her a world name.
‘Heavens Will Fall’: continuous guitar note progressions and singing synths create a characteristically indie flavour to this subtly breaksy track. As the beats increase in urgency, Natascha ’ s vocals come to the fore, signalling the chiaroscuro of the ethereal sweetness of her voice against the dark ness of her lyrics – a powerful and entrancing cut.
First EP single, the decadent , melodic ‘ Poison of Choice ’ received top tier support from Sian Eleri ’ s Chillest Show, Kiss FM ’ s Justin Wilkes, Mixmag, DJ Mag a.m.m.
‘’Heavens Will Fall,’unlike the other tracks on the EP, wasn’t triggered by one sound or idea. It came out of a studio session experimenting with a load of new plugins and a lot of digital instruments.
