“Skydrivin” is a pastel-colored daydream that’s beaming with light and love. Gentle breakbeat drums and ethereal chords dance around lofty pads to create a picturesque soundbed. Jake Neumar’s vocals move from tender and alluring to awe-inspiring as he paints vivid pictures of flying across the sky with that special someone. As they push the gas, the track erupts into a euphoric chorus section that’s built upon stunning vocal bends, stuttering synths, and enveloping low-end. As the excitement reaches its peak, the artists pull it back and slow things to a cruise through a seductive and reflective break. The serene detour provides a masterful contrast against the jubilant finale, which will have listeners zooming through the clouds in a state of pure bliss.

Syence reflects on the inspiration that brought the single to life, saying, “‘Skydrivin’ is a great example of our melodic house sound. We took inspiration from artists like Lane 8 and fred again.. to craft an emotional anthem perfect for your next long walk or sunset drive. Lost in Dreams has always had a special place in our hearts and we can’t wait to partner with them on this banger!”

Reflecting on the thematic direction of the release, Jake Neumar shares: “Sometimes, an instrumental tells a story without lyrics, and when the Syence guys sent me this track, I listened and pictured myself driving a car through space. I couldn’t tell you why, but I knew that was the story that needed to be told.”
This marks the second collaboration between the artists, building upon the buzz established on their previous offering “hate me like u love me.”

Los Angeles-based production duo Zach Montoya and Brayden James first bonded in a college science class over their love of music. The chemistry led to the formation of Syence and has seen the pair exploring the sonic realms of electronic music for nearly a decade. The duo are hot off of two sold-out headline pop-up shows in LA and San Diego, and recently went viral on TikTok with Nicole Kidman AMC ad remix pulling in 343.8k views. They’ve also enjoyed radio support from Sirius XM’s BPM and Chill, and Martin Garrix Radio.

Jake Neumar is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter known for his immersive and wondrous sound. He made his debut on the Lost in Dreams label with “Literal Goals” alongside Koastle, which saw press coverage from YourEDM, The Music Essentials, and Find Your Sounds.

Syence and Jake Neumar’s “Skydrivin” is a melodic house adventure that provides a stunning escape from the monotony.

Syence’s new single “Skydrivin” (feat. Jake Neumar) is available on all platforms via Lost In Dreams Records.
