Slander – Wide Awake Stories #011 – In Wide Awake Stories #011, the team brings the summer heat to the studio as we settle in for another episode of your favorite raver podcast. The show kicks off with a family-style sit-down featuring Slander and NGHTMRE, followed by a conversation with Borgore where he reflects on how he has matured as an artist. Next, we discuss falling in love at EDC and the “free-spirit” mentality with headliners Nick and Jessica before closing out with an eye-opening interview featuring Give a Beat spokespersons, Lauren Segal and Ben Annand.
The 11th episode kicks off with Slander and NGHTMRE, where the infamous collaborators reminisce on the friendship that brought thousands of fans Gud Vibrations and discuss their plans for conquering the world of global bass music.
The low-end vibes continue as Borgore connects with us on his blossoming Fresh-Blood sub-label, as well as the upcoming release of his unexpected but highly anticipated jazz album. Later, EDC Headliners Nick and Jessica talk about falling in love under the electric sky and their inspiration for downsizing their lives, living in the moment, and traveling the US in their blue bus.
A match made in bass heaven, NGHTMRE and Ghastly have linked up for “End of the Night.” Out now on Mad Decent, the bass-heavy trap hybrid is a highly-anticipated collaboration from the two LA-based producers.
A rowdy house party music video accompanies the release, complete with scenes where a teddy bear joins the debauchery as guests smoke, drink, swim in the pool and even jump on a bounce house.
This release comes shortly after NGHTMRE released his “Here Comes The Night” remix for DJ Snake. Even with a hectic 2017 international tour schedule, NGHTMRE promises to show no signs of stopping with epic releases for the rest of the year.
During Coachella Weekend two, NGHTMRE and Slander will bring their Gud Vibrations party to the Heineken House. Other festival appearances in the pipeline for summer include Lollapalooza, Hangout Festival, Bonnaroo, Middlelands and many more unannounced.
NGHTMRE fans have been fiending for this release since DJ Snake quietly dropped it on Twitter back in March. Now here in its entirety, NGHTMRE’s remix of “Here Comes The Night” does not disappoint.
Adding a dose of his signature sound and hard-hitting synths, NGHTMRE flips “Here Comes The Night” into a bouncy and melodic track, perfect for the warm summer nights ahead. A departure from the typical heaviness he’s known for, the remix continues to showcase NGHTMRE’s consistently stellar production talent.
NGHTMRE and Slander just announced they will be bringing their Gud Vibrations party to the Heineken House at Coachella Weekend 2. Other festival appearances in the pipeline for summer 2017 include Lollapalooza, Hangout Festival, Bonaroo, Middlelands and many more unannounced.
In a year of A-list collaborations, Circus’ own legend Flux Pavilion and breakout star NGHTMRE’s ‘Feel Your Love’ featuring Jamie Lewis rose above shook the scene to it’s core. An explosive blend of hyper-futuristic bass warps and supremely uplifting vocal cuts, the track perfectly encapsulated the talents of all involved with it’s unmatched bass weight and sizzling hooks.
Remixes come from around the globe with Quebec’s ANGELZ, Mexican trap and bass queen Jessica Audiffred, Circus Records LA rising star Cyran, Australian wonder kid Axen, Mad Decent affiliate Late and hot new UK talent Dommix.
2017 is shaping up to be another landmark year for Flux Pavilion with a wealth of new material and a mammoth announcement in the pipeline. Further scene domination awaits, bring it on!
