To mark the end of a very special season, Afterlife will take over Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza with a day-to-night Closing Party on Thursday 29th September. Tale Of Us will play two headline sets at the final summer event of their monumental Afterlife residency, joined by Maceo Plex, Sven Väth, Stephan Bodzin (live), Dixon, Mind Against, Ben Klock B2B Marcel Dettmann and many more.
Tale Of Us’s boundary-pushing Afterlife has been at the heart of Ibiza’s most cutting-edge musical action this season, welcoming top-level talents from across the house and techno spectrum. Packed-out crowds have enjoyed artful soundtracks and mesmeric production, heightening the experience and making it an immersive event like no other in Ibiza.
Now, for the first time ever, the Afterlife Closing Party will take place across both Hï Ibiza and sister venue Ushuaïa Ibiza, making it the most historic Afterlife closing to date. It all begins at 5pm on Ushuaïa Ibiza’s world-famous poolside stage, which makes for the most unique open-air dancing experience anywhere in Ibiza, especially once coupled with the club’s always magnificent production. Afterlife creators and melodic techno innovators Tale Of Us will perform back-to-back with Maceo Plex, as well as being joined by techno visionary Sven Väth, celebrated live electronic music pioneer Stephan Bodzin, and fellow Italian pair Fideles.
At midnight, the party continues at Hï Ibiza, with three rooms of exhilarating action to choose from. The cavernous Hï Ibiza Theatre offers up an all-consuming experience on a grand scale with Tale Of Us returning one final time after a fantastic season with their Afterlife residency. Innervisions label head Dixon also lines up, as do melodic Italian maestros Mind Against who blur the lines between IDM, house and techno, and Grammy-nominated producer Cassian.
The Club room offers up an close and personal techno session with Berghain resident Kobosil and the legendary pairing of Ben Klock b2b Marcel Dettmann who bring rolling, chunky techno funk, plus Brazilian ANNA and 8Kays. Last but not least is the vibrant and colourful hedonism of Hï Ibiza’s Wild Corner, one of Ibiza’s most famous party spaces, which will be soundtracked by Konstantin Sibold and Ubbah.
Alongside the iconic Afterlife insignia above the dancefloor, anticipate fully-immersive visual installations and tailor-made lighting arrays, all capped off by the characteristically state-of-the-art sound design and engineering.
