Veteran trio Teddy Killerz are making their return to Bassrush Records with the fittingly titled single “Drop It Hard,” the first salvo from their upcoming EP on the label, following previously multi-track packs ‘Slayer’ and ‘Nerd Starter Pack.’

From the outset, “Drop It Hard” embodies a cinematic, dystopian allure. Foreboding horn blares raise the stakes with a sound that is simultaneously regal and filthy. The drops serve as the main event, offering brutal bouts of aggression and destruction. Grinding bottom-end, ominous melody stabs, murderous laser synths, and a fierce metallic edge clash for an all-out sonic war. Shifting gears for the outro, Teddy Killerz creates a hypnotic halftime section that’s rich with sci-fi soundscapes and a sense of impending doom. The echoing synths and sinister laughter only further the effect, conjuring a deep feeling of unease that’s riddled with anticipation for what lies ahead. With their new EP set to drop later this year, fans are left eagerly anticipating more.
Teddy Killerz are true veterans in the scene with over a decade spent sharpening their craft. Their in-demand sound has led to collaborations alongside artists like Funtcase, Kompany, The Bloody Beetroots, Moody Good, and Dion Timmer as well as garnering official remixes for electronic music icons Skrillex, The Prodigy, and Noisia.
