Thakzin and Divine Keys deliver a collaborative release on Stay True Sounds, ‘Stick Around’. Thakzin’s music is renowned worldwide for its mesmerising quality, uniting spirituality with expert electronic production while earning the respect of A-list selectors like Louie Vega, Benji B and Black Coffee. For this latest release on Stay True Sounds, he works with fellow South African producer Divine Keys, a burgeoning talent who has previously worked with Thakzin on tracks like ‘Unexpected Feels’ and ‘Changing Times’.
Their latest collaboration, ‘Stick Around’ explores the darker side of the two artists’ repertoires, foregoing Thakzin’s usual 3 Step feel to create a record built on brooding pulsations and four on the floor punches – with Divine Keys’ jazz influences felt across intermittent piano lines.
