The Him ‘Not Alone’ STMPD RCRDS

The Him’s latest track ‘Not Alone’ represents a new, more clubby style he’s been experimenting with. Fusing future house with some UK and EDM influences, the style came when he was creating whatever he wanted in the studio without thinking too much.

The Him: ‘’Lots of times I’m working with pop songs that already have a structure to them, but this was really all experimental. I was trying to make a more clubby track without boundaries. I really love the shuffled feel of some of the more uk inspired house, and was messing with lots of weird vocal sounds and chops. I’ve been trying to do more stuff with resampling vocals to make unique sounds.’’
