Irish four-piece Indie-Rock/Pop band ‘The Valmonts’ release their sophomore single ‘Me & Myself Again’ produced by Stuart Gray. With influences ranging from INXS to New Radicals and Blossoms, The Valmonts have curated a sound that is simultaneously new and nostalgic. ‘Me & Myself Again’ once again shows why The Valmonts are quickly becoming one of the most exciting bands emerging from Dublin right now, with their refreshing take on pop shedding an entirely new light on the capital’s music scene.

‘Me & Myself Again’ is no different, the perfect blend of indie-rock and pop that utilise glistening synths,  pulsating drum beats and vibrant guitar lines, showcasing the band’s unique and undeniable talent to create infectious tracks with endless playability.

The Valmonts explain the meaning behind the track. “Me & Myself Again” is about the lust you feel during a short-term relationship, that was never really right for you anyways. It’s a homage to the importance of doing your own thing and individuality.”

Hailing from Galway the band has performed extensively throughout Ireland before moving to Dublin. Their debut single ‘Yesterday Kids’ garnered support throughout Irish media outlets including Hot Press, nialler9, RTE 2FM and Today FM to name a few. Now with the release of their follow-up single ‘Me & Myself Again’, The Valmonts look to celebrate performing at Whelans Upstairs in Dublin on May 17th.
