
The Weeknd has released his new album, ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’.The Canadian artist’s sixth studio album had originally been set for release on 24th January but was postponed by a week due to the wildfires in Los Angeles.
‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’, which you can listen to in full below, is the final instalment in the album trilogy that also comprises 2020’s ‘After Hours’ and 2022’s ‘Dawn FM’. In advance of the record’s release, The Weeknd shared lead singles ‘Timeless’, featuring Playboi Carti, and ‘Dancing In The Flames’, which arrived back in September of last year.
An accompanying film, also titled Hurry Up Tomorrow and starring Tesfaye alongside Barry Keoghan and Jenna Ortega, is due later this year. The movie is described as a “musically-driven psychological thriller” and was produced by The Weeknd and his company Manic Phase.
To mark the release of the new album, the artist has also announced an extensive stadium tour of North America, which kicks off at State Farm Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona on 9th May and will ultimately finish at Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on 3rd September.
The ‘After Hours Til Dawn Tour’ will take in 26 dates in total, and Playboi Carti will support for most of the shows. Producer Mike Dean will also be a special guest. You can find a list of the shows here.
