Juxtaposing Tion’s instantly recognisable baritone vocals with Bru-C’s addictive melodies, the new rework of ‘Make Me Feel Good’ adds a whole new dimension to the already huge hit record. This remix is also Tion’s first feature on a dance record.
The first single released by Belters Only, the buzzworthy Dublin collective featuring famed Irish DJ and producers Bissett and RobbieG, ‘Make Me Feel Good’ was released last summer gaining popularity within the SoundCloud community then charted within the platform, and has since stormed the UK and Irish charts. It is currently sitting at #4 on the UK Singles chart and #1 in the Irish charts for the second consecutive week, also clocking up 15 million Spotify streams.
The track exploded on TikTok after being embraced by influencers and TikTok-ers alike. In total, the top five videos using this sound accumulated an impressive 2.5 million views, over 13,000 creations and more than 13 million global views within the past 6 days.
Tion Wayne burst into public consciousness in 2019 with ‘Keisha & Becky’, a platinum-selling collab with Russ that reached #7 in the UK Singles charts. He went one better last year, hitting the #1 spot with ‘Body’, another Russ collaboration, as well as dropping his debut album Green With Envy, which clocked in at #5.
Hailing from Long Eaton, Derbyshire but now based in Nottingham, Bru-C is a true voice of the UK underground music scene and has quickly become one of the most infamous figures across UK Bass/ Bassline, UK Garage and Drum & Bass. Earlier this year, the brightest personality in dance music shared his new single “Paradise.” Produced by DnB producer, Wilkinson, the new music begins a 2.0 era for Bru-C, who has just signed to 0207 Def Jam, with this being his first release on the label.
