The ultimate winter escape
Tomorrowland Winter is far more than a festival in the snow. It is a complete mountain experience where every day offers a new adventure.
For one extraordinary week, the People of Tomorrow can combine a full winter sports holiday with an electronic music adventure, with skiing and snowboarding by day, world-class artists and spectacular stages in the mountains, and unforgettable nights in the heart of Alpe d’Huez. And from 9 September 2026, the journey can already begin.
With a 7-day or 4-day experience, visitors can choose from a range of packages and tickets designed to make the trip as easy and flexible as possible. Tomorrowland can take care of the festival ticket, ski pass and accommodation, while visitors can also choose to arrange their own lodging.
From hostels, hotels and chalets in Alpe d’Huez and the neighbouring villages, to transport by train, bus or car, the experience can be tailored to different travel styles and budgets. And for those looking to turn their journey into an even bigger adventure, Discover Paris can be added to the trip, offering festivalgoers the opportunity to explore the French capital together with fellow People of Tomorrow before heading into the mountains.
From 9 September, the complete Tomorrowland Winter experience simulator will go live, allowing visitors to explore the different accommodation, ticket and travel options and start building their own winter adventure ahead of ticket sales.
Ski by day, dance by night.
During the day, the mountains become Tomorrowland’s playground. The legendary Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine Ski offers more than 250 kilometres of slopes and 78 lifts, connecting Alpe d’Huez with Oz-en-Oisans, Auris-en-Oisans, Vaujany and Villard-Reculas.
Known as “the island in the sun”, Alpe d’Huez enjoys around 300 days of sunshine per year, with many of its slopes facing south. From gentle pistes for beginners to challenging terrain for experienced skiers and snowboarders, the area offers something for every level.
One of its most iconic experiences is La Sarenne, starting at Pic Blanc at more than 3,330 metres altitude. At 16 kilometres, it is one of the longest ski runs in Europe, descending approximately 1,450 metres through an extraordinary alpine landscape.
And the mountains are not reserved for experienced skiers. Beginners, snowboarders and freeriders all have plenty of options, while cross-country skiers can explore around 50 kilometres of Nordic trails.
During Tomorrowland Winter, all festival mountain stages and platforms remain accessible on foot, meaning visitors who do not ski or snowboard can still experience the magic at altitude.
When the lift stop, the party moves downhill
During the day, the People of Tomorrow can discover Tomorrowland stages scattered across the ski domain, including Le Signal, Folie Douce and Chantebise. Imagine dancing at altitude surrounded by snow-covered peaks.
And when the lifts stop and the sun disappears behind the peaks, the party simply moves downhill. The village of Alpe d’Huez comes alive with a spectacular indoor MainStage, transformed entirely into the unmistakable world of Tomorrowland. From the après-ski energy of Moosebar, to the harder sounds of CAGE. Every night offers a different dimension of the Tomorrowland experience.
A week that is never enough
The full line-up for Tomorrowland Winter 2027 will be revealed at a later date, alongside the extensive culinary programme and the full range of activities available throughout the week. But one thing is already certain: just like previous editions, there will be far more to discover than can possibly fit into a single day. Beyond the slopes and stages, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a wide range of mountain activities and experiences: from paragliding and snowshoeing to discovering the spectacular Alpine surroundings. And, as tradition dictates, some of the world’s leading electronic music artists will once again make their way to the mountains of Alpe d’Huez.
