Taking her love for deep bass music to the next level, literally, TrebleTina is set to raise the vibrations to a higher dimension with her new single. “Levitate” is an experimental dubstep cut powered by cosmic soundscapes that evolve into spiraling synth oscillations. Warbling lower frequencies emulate the sensation of lifting off the ground. Ethereal vocals add to the hovering effect, as vocal lines like ‘My mind creates // a higher place, I levitate” depicting the out-of-body experience that comes with meditation and manifestation.
Diving into the intention behind her new single, TrebleTina explains: “‘Levitate’ is a song I wrote about my deep connection to music. It’s a place where I can shelter myself from the outside world and be my authentic self. It has the power to transcend anything else going on in my life and to take me to a place of peace and comfort.”
TrebleTina’s passion for music goes far beyond her tracks, she’s also a vocal advocate for inclusivity and equity in the dance music industry and beyond. Through her diversity-forward brand lovingly dubbed as “Shades of Bass,” the underlying inspiration of her every move ties back to highlighting a healthy mix of artists across all genres, challenging norms, and ultimately proving that music knows no gender. The compassion she feels for the music and its community is a cornerstone for her productions, which have earned recognition by artists like Liquid Stranger and Xotix, in addition to reeling in coverage from media channels like UKF, Beatport, Def TV, and Heard It Here First, which, in turn, has been opening doors to be able to perform on stages such as Electric Forest.
“Levitate” was the winning submission for the Discovery Project DJ / producer competition hosted for Project Glow, and was selected personally by guest judges, Liquid Stranger. After landing the top spot, TrebleTina secured this release on the label, as well as a performance.
Treble Tina’s debut single “Levitate” is available on all platforms via Discovery Project.
