TSHA is set to release a remix of Daisybelle’s ‘Eyes Wide Shut’, featuring Tasty Lopez.On her bumping interpretation of ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ – the title track from Daisybelle’s recent EP – London-based trailblazer TSHA serves up strutting rave rhythms, weighty drums and rowdy UKG inflections, whilst preserving the vintage house flavours of the original track. The release kicks off a two-part remix series landing later this month on HE.SHE.THEY., alongside a peak-hour rework from Aussie fave CC:DISCO!
“I’m excited to be part of the HE.SHE.THEY. family with my first remix on the label,” TSHA shared on her contribution. “I was a big fan of the original and loved putting my own spin on the track.”
The project follows TSHA’s own remix EP, released on Ninja Tune in February, and featuring remixes of tracks from her latest album, ‘Sad Girl’, by Alan Dixon, St. David, Paul Sirrell and icykof.
Last week, TSHA kicked off her Jackfruit residency at London’s Phonox, where she was joined by DJs Daisybelle, Cromby and Eclair Fifi for the debut event. Remaining tickets to the residency are available here.
