Twenty Years Later, Space 92 Reimagines Oxia’s ‘Domino’

Twenty years ago, Oxia released ‘Domino’ – a track that became one of the most iconic records in electronic music history. Two decades and 150 million Spotify streams later, Space 92 is now bringing it to a new generation of dancefloors, with its official remix out this Friday, June 12 on Armada Music.

Two Icons, Two Eras

Oxia is one of France’s most respected DJs and producers, shaping the landscape of electronic music for over twenty years. His discography spans leading labels such as Knee Deep in SoundAll Day I Dream, and Hot Creations, alongside his own imprint Diversions Music. As a remixer and collaborator, he has worked with MobyJohn Digweed and Miss Kittin, and released his third studio album ‘Aelle’ in October 2025.

Taking on the remix is Space 92 – Techno Peak Time/Drive’s best-selling artist since 2020 and winner of the IMS Ibiza Best-Selling Techno PT/D Artist Award in 2024. His sound blends trancey techno, distorted percussion and a touch of acid, and his high-energy performances have made him a regular figure at the world’s biggest festivals.

The Record That Defined a Generation

‘ Domino’  is one of those records that needs no introduction. First released on Kompakt in 2006, it became a defining record of its era – melodic, hypnotic and impossible to forget. Reissued in 2017 with a new remix package, it has since surpassed 150 million streams on Spotify, and shows no signs of leaving the dancefloor

Space 92’s remix transforms ‘Domino’ into a peak-time weapon – stripping it back with his signature blend of trancey techno and driving percussion, while keeping the hook that defined the original firmly intact. The remix is not a reinterpretation for nostalgia’s sake – it is a current, club-ready record built for today’s dancefloors
