Established US party brand RVDIOVCTIVE launch their record label with RVDIOVCTIVE Vol.1 – a 15-track compilation that draws on their 10+ year history and includes brand new music from Devon James, Choopsie, Rufus, Subrinse and many more.
Born out of the Brooklyn underground, RVDIOVCTIVE brings dynamic and eclectic electronic music to curated events across the country. What began as a creative outlet for passion projects amongst friends quickly grew into an innovative force focussed on collaboration and community. For more than a decade, these two core principles have guided RVDIOVCTIVE, an ethos that has now culminated in the launch of a new record label.
RVDIOVCTIVE Records broadens upon the events series’ philosophy of community and collaboration. Welcoming work by artists that break from their traditional sounds RVDIOVCTIVE values vulnerability over hype, aiming to push creative boundaries.
Influenced by the now-classic sounds of house and techno that came out of Chicago and Detroit, RVDIOVCTIVE Records seeks to expand upon the groundbreaking work done by so many creatives who came before – and to champion new, exciting sounds that have yet to hit the scene.
Launching the label is RVDIOVCTIVE Vol.1 – a compilation featuring 15 brand new tracks from a wide array of hyper talented electronic artists, many of whom have longstanding relationships with RVDIOVCTIVE.
Across 15 highly distinctive and memorable tracks, RVDIOVCTIVE Vol.1 explores a wide range of club-focussed house and techno. From the disco-tinged strains of Tony Quattro’s St. Tropez, the driving, hypnotic depths of Devon James’s No Boyfriend and Subrinse’s Destination, to the haunting, atmospheric broken-beats of Choopsie’s Don’t Let Me Down, RVDIOVCTIVE Vol.1 is an incredibly impressive collection of music from artists on the brink of breaking through on the world stage, and perfectly encapsulates the eclectic, exploratory nature of RVDIOVCTIVE’s celebrated parties.
A natural evolution for a brand that has been making all the right noises for over a decade, RVDIOVCTIVE Records will be making its music mark in 2022 and beyond.
