Electro pop artist ,Victoria Celestine , has released a sparkling new music video for her latest single “Carrying On“. In the feel-good song, the singer/songwriter tackles overcoming the obstacles that life throws our way.
“With delicate, catchy phrases gracing lacquer-smooth electronic production, this is one for those who like their pop sweet and fizzy.”
About Victoria Celestine :
Born in San Antonio Texas, Victoria, half French and half Texan, moved to France at an early age. After spending about a decade there, she moved back to San Antonio. Having piano as her first instrument, she expanded her horizons by picking up the guitar, beginning her songwriting journey. Gordon Raphael (Regina Spektor, the Strokes) then discovered her at an open mic where he asked her to record her first 7 songs acoustically. She has continued on this path of writing, playing, and recording with different producers, and in the process has placed in the International Songwriting Competition 4 years in a row, in the International Acoustic Music Awards, and in the iTunes Charts. At 20, Victoria is also an audio engineer residing in Austin, TX where she is recording and producing bands. Her latest recordings emit a synthpop vibe while her local performances are of an acoustic, soft, and reflective style. We can look for her newest release in the Spring of a project she did in France with James Sanger (Dido, Phil Collins, Keane).
It’s refreshing I hear about a singer songwriter who’s produced songs are fully arranged yet her live performances are acoustic. Nice to know someone else is doing this :-).
