Scottish producer Vince Watson returns under his Amorphic alias with the sixth EP on his self-titled label, arriving 28th May 2026. With more than three decades of activity, over 1000 tracks, and 250+ EPs to his name, Watson has long secured his place within techno’s history while continuing to evolve as both artist and performer. As Amorphic, he explores the deeper, darker edges of his sound with releases on labels including Blueprint, MORD, Token, and Symbolism, while also remaining active internationally as a DJ, mentor, lecturer, and radio host.
Opening track ‘A82’ gets straight to work with a looping bassline twisting beneath firm kicks, as sonar-like pulses rise through the mix. Icy hi-hats and hammering percussion build intensity before psychedelic synth patterns push the track into full late-night territory. ‘A68’ follows with insistent synth tension and jacked-up drums, creating a hypnotic, warehouse-ready groove designed to pull dancers further in. Closing cut ‘A90’ rounds things out with muscular low-end pressure, moody undertones, and sharp percussive detail, its dark momentum carrying the EP through to a powerful finish.
