A trio of Brazil’s most distinguished producers today release a mind-altering production, with Vintage Culture on the reins. “Tina” feat. The Vic, showcases the South American talents of Bhaskar and Meca, who, alongside Vintage Culture, are guiding the sounds of house music in 2023.
Released via Diplo’s revered Higher Ground imprint, the record narrates a noteworthy mid-week outing, culminating in a blurry two-day binge. The descriptive tale unfolds after a driving percussion introduction, followed by the deep bass melodies Vintage Culture is known for.
The accompanying music video is a masterclass in simplicity, with our main protagonist embracing the camera in a black backdrop throughout the nearly four-and-a-half minute-long clip. Donning a cream-colored coat, our lead character dances as he recants the harrowing tale of his time with a Tina Turner look-alike.
“Tina” feat. The Vic is the latest in a string of releases from Vintage Culture. His most recent single, “Talk It Over”, is a collaboration with English producer, Elderbrook. The Brazilian superstar recently announced his highly-anticipated debut album, due out soon under his new label, BOMA RECORDS.
