Continuing a stellar run of releases, with music from label boss Joseph Capriati, Dennis Cruz, Murphy’s Law, and FLOWFAT, Metamorfosi Records now welcomes Volkoder into the fold with his ‘Cama Cama’ EP, arriving on the 7th November. With over thirty Beatport Top 10s and a career spanning more than 15 years, the Brazilian DJ/producer has performed at the likes of Ministry of Sound (London), Space (Miami), and major festivals like Tomorrowland. The ‘Cama Cama’ EP expertly showcases Volkoder’s ability to explore new sonic territories while staying true to his percussive roots.
Opening the EP, ‘Cama Cama’ fuses minimal sensibilities with organic essences, weaving in short interludes of rattling low-end textures that perfectly balance groove and rhythm. Next up, ‘She Kisses’ dives into tougher territory, delivering a gritty techno-electro hybrid driven by a throbbing bassline and cosmic-animated synths that slice through the mix with futuristic flair. Closing the EP, ‘Ibiza 90s’ combines percussive tech house rhythms, looping melodies, and soft, soothing vocals that nod to the euphoric edge of 90s dancefloors, radiating both warmth and nostalgia.
