The release of ‘Better Recognize’ has been long-awaited by fans across the globe in both the club and festival circuits as both artists have been teasing it amongst their sets and joint B2B’s for nearly two years. The high-energy single features driving synth stabs, club-ready basslines, and ethereal vocals from ZHU, that were recorded at San Francisco’s idyllic Grace Cathedral. The single serves as a symbol of Wax Motif’s top-tier collaboration ability and ever-evolving production style that perfectly intertwines with ZHU’s signature style and sound.

When discussing the collaboration, Wax states, “It’s been a long time coming that ZHU and I were able to finally catch up in the studio and work together on music. After years of friendship, it was bound to happen but never forced. Better Recognize is the product of two friends coming together and actually making a product we are proud of and something not forced. I hope that everyone enjoys it.”

ZHU continues on to say, “In the midst of experimenting with new sounds and direction for a new project, I wanted to keep something consistent. Wax and I made a banger for the clubs.”
