Weston & Teston, known for their shift from progressive house to melodic and peak-time techno, deliver one of their most poignant tracks to date. Reflecting on the inspiration behind the collaboration, Phorie explains, “Once I heard Weston & Teston’s side of the track for the first time, I immediately knew the story that had to be layered in. I was in my own limbo, thinking about my one person that had passed, writing to them.” Her ghostly, whispering tones perfectly complement the driving basslines and hissing hi-hats, giving the track a visceral edge that digs deep into the feeling of unresolved attachment.
The release marks an important milestone for Weston & Teston as they continue to push the boundaries of their sound.
