Following the producer’s recent relocation to the “Magic City,” “Miami Mami” is a club-ready house track inspired by his immersion into the city’s vibrant nightlife. This late-night construction is filled to the brim with layers of bubbling percussion, which reveal themselves gradually alongside stuttering vocal chants, conga-bongo combos, oscillating tones, humming pad swells, and swirling synth rolls. Infused with Yamagucci’s funky flair, the track boasts balanced rhythms that perfectly mimic the heartbeat of Miami.

Delving deeper into the track’s meaning, Yamagucci shares, “I’m incredibly excited to have my first solo release on the imprint. It’s a representation of new things, symbolic of my move to Miami. I wanted to create a track that commemorates this moment.”

Experiencing a veritable explosion within the underground house scene, Yamagucci has been making himself a dominating force in the studio and on stages worldwide. This release follows his label debut, “What The F*** Is That,” featured on the ‘Rotate vol 15’ Compilation, earning press coverage from EDM Identity, We Rave You, The Groove Cartel, Midnight Dance Music, Faze Magazine, as well as receiving tastemaker support from Adam Ten, Mita Gemi, BLOND:ISH, and Flashmob. On the live side, Yamagucci has become equally respected as a bona-fide selector. He’s been delighting dancefloor across the US recently, making his rounds at renowned stages including EDC Mexico, and Hard Summer. Looking ahead, he has an upcoming performance with BLOND:I:SH as part of her ‘Abracadabra’ showcase in Los Angeles, and is preparing to make his Coachella debut this upcoming year.

Marking a new chapter in both his career and personal life, “Miami Mami” serves as both a love letter to the city he’s proud to now call him home, and a bold declaration of the unrivaled artist that originally put him on the map.

Yamagucci’s new single “Miami Mami” is available on all platforms via IN / ROTATION Records.
