Electronic music’s rising star Yulia Niko makes her debut appearance on Insomniac’s offshoot imprint IN / ROTATION on March 11th with her new single, a rousing tech house cut aptly titled “Get Up.”

Taking its title to heart, “Get Up” is a discerning tech house track guaranteed to wake up the dancefloor. Already celebrated for her deep and minimal techno grooves, Yulia Niko’s latest track shows her channeling the nonstop party cycle from her stomping grounds in Berlin. The track features a bold, hip-hop style vocal loop, which prompts heads to get up on their feet, while slinky rhythms, murky synth shifts, detuned fills, and oscillating texture culminate into obscene amounts of invigorating club energy.
Reflecting on the emotional and physical connection behind the track, Yulia Niko explains, “After 24 hours in Berghain, you go to sleep and wake up on Tuesday and this is how you see the world—Very tough.”
A mainstay in Berlin’s underground scene, Yulia Niko has been deeply invested in dance music since her teenage years. Moving from spectator to selector, she has since found her way onto the underground’s radar with her minimal-leaning mixture of house and techno. Her unwavering dedication to the craft and compelling live performances have led her to hold a residency at the renowned Watergate Club in Berlin and multiple shows at major events around the globe, including upcoming plays at Papaya Playa Project, Igloofest, SXM Festival, Coachella, E1 London, Cercle Moment, Extrema Outdoor, and Awakenings festival. Her music has been championed by top-notch tastemakers from the likes of Paco Osuna, Eli Brown, Claptone, Mat.Joe, Shiba San, Marco Lys, and Max Styler.

Since the age of 15 Yulia has dedicated her life to music, moving to New York in her early twenties to study production after spending her adolescence DJing and collecting music.
