Tom Cross, known now as ZERO TO ONE, is more than just a Grammy-nominated music producer, DJ, and multi- instrumentalist—he’s a passionate artist with a deep love for the craft. Formerly one-half of the celebrated duo Wh0, Tom has had the privilege of working alongside some of the most iconic names in the industry, from Steve Angello and Mark Knight to Armand Van Helden, Basement Jaxx, The Prodigy, Nile Rodgers, and more.
Throughout his journey, Tom’s talent has taken him to some incredible places—a Grammy nomination, a track on FIFA 2023, invitations to the legendary Abbey Road Studios, and even a contribution to Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour. His ability to captivate audiences has been evident in sold-out shows at venues like Printworks and XOYO, and his music has reached millions, with over 90 million streams worldwide. He’s also worked with top labels such as Ministry of Sound, Capitol Records and Positiva.
Now, Tom is embarking on a new chapter as ZERO TO ONE, a project that’s a true reflection of his heart and soul. Drawing from the diverse sounds of Electronica, Grime, Bass, Rap, and the vibrant UK culture and fashion, Tom is returning to his musical roots with renewed passion. This new journey isn’t just about creating music—it’s about reconnecting with the essence of what inspires him.

ZERO TO ONE is the new solo alias of Grammy-nominated producer Tom Cross, previously part of a masked electronic act with global success. After leaving the project in 2024 to reclaim creative control, he’s now writing a new story rooted in UK culture, emotional depth, and raw expression.
At the start of 2024, after six intense years building something big from behind a mask, I knew it was time to step away. The project I helped create no longer felt like me. Not creatively, not personally. What once felt exciting and expressive had started to feel more like a chore, something I had to show up for, rather than something I believed in. And eventually, I hit a crossroads: stay and keep compromising, or walk away and start from scratch.
ZERO TO ONE is me choosing to start again. It’s more than just a new name; it’s a mindset about creating something honest and full of feeling.
Leaving was a real process. But I’m glad it’s behind me now. I’m not here to stir up drama, I’m here to grow, to make music I care about, and to build something real from the ground up.
I’ll be releasing a new single every 6 to 8 weeks on my label, ZT1 Records, as I build towards an album. Each track is a play on the 12 stages of grief, a way of processing everything I’ve been through and turning pain into something meaningful. This music became my therapy, and now I’m sharing it in the hope it resonates with anyone who’s ever had to start over.
This is the rebirth. From quiet to clarity. From nothing to something.
