ZUSO has teamed up with Cleopold for ‘High Above’

Australian producer Gabriel Cuenca, aka ZUSO, has teamed up with Melbourne – born/Los Angeles – based artist Cleopold for an invigorating melodic – house treat called ‘High Above’, which effortlessly captures the vibrant essence of summer.

Gabriel shares that this song has been in the making for just over a year, primarily waiting for the right vocalist to come along. Enter Cleopold, and within weeks, the track evolved into something extraordinary, and with the Australian summer just about to begin, it was starting to feel like it was just meant to be.

ZUSO shares; “ Have been sitting on this one for a while now and am finally happy it’s now out in the world. Has probably been just over a year now since first starting the idea, we went throug h so many different versions and different sample ideas, but eventually, we decided to get a vocal on it and George and I started working together at the start of the year to get it all wrapped up. His vocal just took the track to another level and super s toked with how it turned out! Perfect song to kick off the summer, hope you enjoy .”

And Cleopold adds; “I had fun singing on Zuso’s beat and whipping up an arrangement with him on the phone. The track came together seamlessly and I found it easy to jump on the mic with such a light and textural chord progression. Seems like a no – brainer to release this tune with Zuso in the lead up to Australian summer and as always, I’m excited to work with Sweat It Out / Love Clvb on a new A ustralian release. Thanks for having me.
