Keeping a busy 2026 moving, Lima’s Ammo Avenue lands on Cloonee’s Hellbent Records for the first time with ‘Bipolar’, a three-track EP that highlights the range behind one of Peru’s most consistent house exports. While his productions have always been rooted in groove and club functionality, this release reflects the wider palette that has quickly made his catalogue stand out, balancing moods, textures, and approaches without losing the identity that runs through his music.
The title track ‘Bipolar’ sets the tone with a sharp, acid edge running through its chunky low end and tightly wound percussion, bringing a sense of tension and movement at its core. ‘Retro Dance’ shifts direction with a more playful approach, built around an infectious vocal hook and a bouncy bassline that gives the track its immediate character. Closing the EP, ‘Gettin Real’ strips things back further, focusing on funky rhythmic details and a more minimal arrangement that lets each element find its place.
Ammo Avenue’s ability to move between different corners of the house sphere has become one of the defining parts of his output.
