Propelled by a surge of old-school club grit, “Highwave” is a dark tech groove that summons the spirit of minimal techno from the early 2000s. Meller’s ability to program powerful, driving drums is on full display, with a relentless rhythm reinforced by slinky basslines, disorienting modulations, warbling textures, fly-by oneshots, jangling sitar flourishes, and bewitching vocals set to a continuous, seismic loop.

Born and raised in Serbia, Andrew Meller is a seasoned underground producer who’s been grinding for more than a decade. Since the project’s inception in 2014, he’s built a lengthy catalog covering progressive house, techno, deep house, minimal, tech house, and indie dance. Meller’s profile has become increasingly expansive, landing collabs with a healthy mix of like-minded artists, including Laherte, Rafael Cerato, Raumakustik, and Carl Bee. The tastemaker support is a testament to his growing demand, garnering radio support from BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard, Kiss FM UK, and Ibiza Global Radio, as well as top-tier talents rinsing his records, such as Mau P, Carl Cox, Max Styler, Notre Dame, Innellea, Solomun, Andrea Oliva, and Nic Fanciulli. On the live side, he’s maintained a solid schedule, with a residency at Avyca Ibiza last season, in addition to making the rounds at EXIT Festival, UNTOLD Festival, Hangar (Brussels), Culture Club Revelion, and ADE.
