ARTCORE’S DUO SERIES FIRES UP A BRAND NEW PAIRING WITH MILO SPYKERS AND GRAY COSMO AFTER ADE

At the start of the year Indira Paganotto unleashed her intriguing DUO release project onto  the world – a concept which showcases the raw, restless dynamism of her artists by lining-up  different ARTCORE names side-by-side on one EP. The outcome of this rolling release series  has already provided a trove of special moments, celebrating a fiesta of techno and trance.

Now in the true spirit of everything the DUO project symbolises – creativity, unity and passion  – ‘ARTCORE DUO VII’ will arrive on 27th November featuring Antwerp’s Milo Spykers and  Italian duo, Gray Cosmo.

Milo’s opener ‘Boudica’ sets off in characteristically sprightly style with it’s jaunty, pumping  bass working dutifully aside euphoric synths fills and spirited vocals. A fierce, pacing drum  pattern underpins much of the driving low-end that pipes and bellows with heady melancholy.

Gray Cosmo compounds the sonic qualities of the EP with a fierce reverberating bass and  drum combo to open ‘Come Together’. With each colossal thud comes a new slew of jittering  overtones before the beat boils down and an eerie vocal swoon chillingly bringing a sense of  unease before marching to a close.

Milo Spykers delivers yet another punishing blend of driving percussion and blistering synth  on ‘Fade In’. As beat pounds, a chugging lead begins amidst unrestrained measures of thick  stomping bass, skittering cymbals and volatile astral overtones.

A warm inception of female vocals opens ‘Unshry’ to galloping grooves and tribal like  drumming. These tribal-like influences are joined by a juxtaposition of probing synth and more  enchanting lyrics for a dazzling clash of sounds and tones that draw the track to a close.

ARTCORE DUO VII featuring tracks from Milo Spykers and Gray Cosmo will be available on  ARTCORE on Thursday the 27th November.

About Gray Cosmo

Great art often emerges from the union of opposites, where differences collide to create something truly unique. For Gray Cosmo, a Turin-based techno duo, this dynamic is at the core of their music. Alex and Andrea met in 2021, not through music but on the tennis courts, where their shared passion for the game forged the first bond. It wasn’t long before their individual paths – Alex as a classically trained pianist turned producer, and Andrea as a seasoned DJ from Turin’s underground scene – converged in the studio. Despite their contrasting personalities, they discovered a profound synergy that has become the essence of Gray Cosmo.

Their name reflects the setting of their earliest creative moments. Always working at night or during
Turin’s grey winter days, they realised they had never seen the sun since starting the project. That dim,
the atmospheric world mirrored the energy of their music: driving, deep, and emotionally charged. To
them, the grey sky represents a comforting space where creativity thrives – much like the shadowy allure of the clubbing world they adore.

Gray Cosmo’s sound is a fusion of groove-heavy rhythms, warm, resonant basslines, and evocative
vocals. Alex crafts intricate, emotive melodies, while Andrea builds relentless, kinetic beats, creating
tracks that are both introspective and electrifying on the dance floor. This interplay of opposites forms the backbone of their music, which blurs the lines between raw energy and refined artistry.

In just a few short years, Gray Cosmo has ascended rapidly in the global techno scene. They’ve
performed alongside icons like Indira Paganotto, Mathame, Sam Paganini, Nicole Moudaber, and
Luigi Madonna, bringing their sound to renowned venues like E1 London and Studio Club Malaga. A
pivotal turning point came in 2024, when Indira Paganotto championed their music, featuring them in
ARTCORE showcases and releasing their standout tracks ‘Oyebe’ and ‘XTRA’ on her label. Shortly after, their Real Life EP on Joyhauser’s Memoro Recordings climbed to #11 on Beatport, with support from stars such as Charlotte de Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano.

Their differing creative instincts continue to be their strength. While Alex thrives in precision and melody, Andrea brings raw energy and rhythm, merging their talents into a cohesive, powerful sound. What began under the grey skies of Turin has grown into a global presence, proving that in the right balance of contrasts, limitless potential can be found.

ABOUT MILO SPYKERS

High octane techno, trance fueled energy and grooves that bounce.

Anyone who has witnessed Milo Spykers at the decks knows the experience is as powerful as it
is loving. From the moment he began performing in the gritty Antwerp underground, he
demanded any raver’s attention. Born and raised in Belgium, Milo came of age within the
country’s rich club culture, riding trains across the country as a teenager to catch international
house and techno DJs, eventually leading him to Berlin and Amsterdam’s late-night institutions.
It was in the thunderous halls of Berlin’s clubs that he made up his mind: this is what he wanted
to be part of.

Without formal training, Milo began teaching himself music production during his college years.
After graduating, he devoted himself entirely to the craft, which led to a debut EP on Lenske
Records. Five more releases followed, alongside appearances on Airod’s Elyxir, Fabric Records,
and a remix for Farrago on Vermillion Trax.

Milo’s sound draws from 90s techno, rave, and trance, balanced with a sharp sense of the present
and future. His sets are known for their high energy, emotional contrast, and unexpected turns. A
resident of the Exhale party series since its early days in Belgium, Milo has brought his sound to
clubs and cities around the world, from RSO Berlin and E1 London to DC10 and Amnesia in
Ibiza, and from Warehouse Elementenstraat in Amsterdam to BLITZ Munich, Rex Club in Paris,
and Razzmatazz in Barcelona. His North American stops have included Radius in Chicago,
Domicile in Miami, SXTCY in Los Angeles, and the Brooklyn Mirage in New York. He has also
completed multiple tours through Asia and South America, expanding his reach and connection
with dance floors across continents.

Recently, Milo launched his own record label and event series, ACCELERATOR. The label is a
platform for both his own music and emerging talent, and has already released its first records.
Under the same name, he’s curating events across the globe from Antwerp, Paris, London to Los
Angeles and New York.

Milo is now working to broaden the scope of Accelerator both musically and conceptually as he
continues to explore new ways to evolve his sound and build community around it. Keep your
eyes open. He’s just getting started.
