A deep-house classic in the making, ‘need it, breathe it’ showcases what belac does best, combining clean, dance-ready beats with emotionally layered melodies and vocals. The track’s energy, bouncy nature, and catchy ‘haunted by your love’ vocal sample make it one you can move to in clubs, yet resonate with on a mental level.
Alongside this exciting new material, belac also brings a signature irony to the table – by way of memes & online commentary – that takes jabs at the tropes & cliches of the music industry. Having seen an immense amount of online growth and traction of late, belac now continues to work on releasing more music with a very exciting 2026 in store.

With no formal music education, a 12 year old in Perth began producing EDM & House music inspired by the likes of Martin Garrix & Tiesto. His name was belac. After several years experimenting with different styles of production (Boom-Bap, Lo-Fi, Trap & Phonk), belac began releasing bootleg Hip-Hop mixtapes & beat tapes. Drawing influence from his favourite music (Memphis Trap, Smooth Jazz & 2010’s EDM), belac started his musical journey online, while also finishing off his Physics degree at the University of Western Australia.
Now 23 years old, belac aims to complete his Masters in Physics, and is in full-swing going back to his Electronic roots having recently signed with [PIAS] Électronique and released a string of successful singles (‘Be With Me 2009’, ‘What 2 Say’).
