“Heavy Heart” Arrives as Third Single from Blanke’s Debut Monstercat EP, ‘Emergence,’ Out This Year

Making music for the masses is the essence of Blanke. He has taken his eclectic sounds of melodic bass, dubstep, downtempo, and drum and bass, under his alias ÆON:MODE, live across the world including Lollapalooza (Chicago and Paris), to EDC Las Vegas, and at Empower Field in Mile High Stadium opening for Illenium, which was named the largest crowd for an EDM show in America’s history. This past weekend he kicked off his ‘EARTH TO THE STARS: EMERGENCE’ tour where he played two separate sets to a packed out crowd at Webster Hall in New York City. His impressive catalogue includes collaborations with Zeds Dead, Gryffin, ILLENIUM, Seven Lions, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Jason Ross, Kompany, and official remixes for Ray Volpe, Slander, and more.
Multi-instrumentalist and producer Grant made his debut on Monstercat a decade ago, and since has accumulated multi-millions of streams across massive singles like “The Edge” with Nevve (16.7MM+), “Are We Still Young” with Juneau (14.5MM+), and “Dead Man Walking” with Ellis (11MM+). He’s crafted official remixes for remixes for Zedd & Kehlani, Seven Lions, and Selena Gomez, and worked with singers Tate McRae on songs including “greedy” and “run for the hills,” “Do It Like That” with TOMORROW X TOGETHER and The Jonas Brothers, and OneRepublic on “Mirage.” In the live circuit, he’s graced the decks opening for ILLENIUM at Red Rocks and Bill Graham Auditorium, and will open for Plush at The Foundry Concert Club on June 13th.

The way her voice dances over the chords and the guitar and the supportive tone in the lyrics feels unique and so emotive. One of those goosebump songs for me, everytime. I’m ecstatic about this collaboration with two of my favourite and incredibly talented artists, Grant and your friend polly, and to play this out live once everyone knows the words.”
Grant adds, “Blanke was someone I’d always looked up to and respected in the dance music scene. I admired how he was able to have a great career, tapping into so many different genres. I knew when we started this track (almost two years ago now) that there was something really special about it. After we started the initial vibe, I brought in one of my favorite co-writers, your friend polly, and together we wrote the vocal. I personally love this track and hope you guys do too!!”
