CALVIN HARRIS AND RIHANNA HOPE LIGHTNING STRIKES TWICE ON NEW COLLAB, “THIS IS WHAT YOU CAME FOR”
Back in 2011, EDM hitmaker Calvin Harris and pop renegade Rihanna found love in a hopeless place. This summer, they’re simply hoping that lightning can strike twice.
Today, April 29, Calvin revealed the pair’s new collaboration, “This Is What You Came For,” following weeks of hype and five years of “We Found Love” lodged in our heads. Following the wildfire success of Calvin’s 2015 team-up with Disciples, “How Deep Is Your Love,” this new one also eschews mainstage-ready drops for a radio-friendly breeziness. Rest assured, though, that the drops will come via the inevitable parade of official remixes.
On Coachella’s weekend one earlier this month, Calvin was joined onstage by Rihanna for “We Found Love,” but the duo has kept its latest creation closely guarded until now. Take a listen to “This Is What You Came For” below.
