The age of producers booking novelty party spaces is upon us. With Nina Kraviz throwing a rave in an 150 foot UFO-shaped water tower and Ganja White Night‘s impromptu airplane afterparty, the next artist to capture a captivating make-shift venue is the legendary Carl Cox.
The tech and house maestro has just announced a special three-hour set in an Irish castle — Ballinlough Castle in County Westmeath on August 25. Dubbed another “Carl Cox & Friends” event, the scene will be set on the front lawn of the 17th century building overlooking a lake. A number of special surprise guests are scheduled to appear in the celebration of his imprint, Intec Digital.
Ballinlough Castle is approximately an hour-long commute from Dublin, Ireland, with a direct shuttle return service provided from the city centre. General public on-sale begins November 30th at 9am local time.
