Known as “The King of the Andes”, CARLOH has become a key export from Ecuador’s house scene to the global circuit, bringing the rhythms and musical heritage of the Andes into a sound that has travelled well beyond South America. His productions have found homes across the underground and climbed charts internationally, while his Latin House Gang concept has helped define the wider musical world around his work. With four previous appearances on sister imprint Solid Grooves Raw and two on the main label – 2019’s ‘Back To House’ and 2021’s ‘Majavi’ – he returns to Solid Grooves for the first time in five years with a fresh production that once again connects his Latin influences with the Solid Grooves sound.
‘Musica Infinita’ settles into a slick, rolling groove, with crisp percussion and vocal phrases weaving in and out of the mix, allowing its vibrant Latin influences to shine. It’s a record rooted in the sound CARLOH has developed over the years, continuing the long-running connection between the Ecuadorian producer and the Solid Grooves family.
