Raised in Queens, CID has established himself among the highest ranks of house music, known for creating chart-topping records cherished equally by commercial audiences, fans of the underground, and clubgoers. He co-produced Cedric Gervais’ GRAMMY-winning remix of Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness,” later earning a second GRAMMY nomination for his remix of LSD’s “Audio.” CID runs his own record label, Night Service Only, and is one of the highest-selling artists on Beatport, with his catalog surpassing over one billion Spotify streams.
“Don’t Call Me” is a tech house cut that tells a story of a secret hookup. It’s built around a sultry, low vocal warning a late-night caller not to reach out unless they’re serious about coming over. Dark synths and moody melodies build tension, while deep, rolling percussion, heavy bass, and crisp claps keep the track moving.
The single follows his Insomniac Records release of “Loaded Gun“, which has drawn 2.61M streams, as well as radio plays from Sirius XM, Kiss FM AUS, SLAM!, Radio 538, NRJ, Sunshine Live, Fun Radio, Radio FG. The track gained mixshow support from Martin Garrix, ACRAZE, Oliver Heldens, TELYKAST, Afrojack, Nicky Romero.
CID is currently on his “Out of Service” tour, headlined by his show at the Hollywood Palladium on January 9 followed by Concourse Project in Austin on January 29. The tour also includes stops at EDC Orlando, Breakaway Festival, DPRTMNT, The Village Beach Club, Goldrush Festival, Blackbox Theatre, 1015 Folsom, Common UNDRGRD, The Forum, The Vogue, and District.
