After years of sharing festival stages and back-to-back sets, the bass titans collaborate once again for a melodic dubstep heartbreak anthem.

Los Angeles, CA – Friday, November 6 – Electronic music heavyweights SLANDER, Excision, and Blanke team up for their new single, “Give You Love,” out now on SLANDER’s Heaven Sent label. After years in each other’s orbit, playing the same festivals and sharing back-to-back sets, SLANDER and Excision bring a highly-anticipated collaboration to life with this melodic dubstep track, written as a final plea to an ex to give it one last try.

LA producer duo SLANDER have been changing the landscape of dance music throughout the past decade; they are a multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated act whose influence reaches deep into the trenches of dubstep as much as it touches the heart of melodic bass and crossover genres.

Based in Kelowna, Excision is a bass music pioneer from British Columbia who has revolutionized bass music through his prolific catalog and world-class festivals.

Born in Australia but operating out of Denver, Blanke is another artist categorized in a league of his own, flowing between heavy-hitting and cathartically melodic sounds as he blazes through dubstep, drum & bass, and melodic bass.

“Give You Love” has been in the works for nearly three years, with early versions appearing in SLANDER’s and Excision’s sets for over a year and a half. The track features soft croons and riveting vocal belts that lay out the terms, meeting halfway to make up after a devastating breakup. The melody builds over atmospheric textures, with arpeggios leading into melodic bass stutters and a deep dubstep drop featuring rumbling, distorted synths.

SLANDER is coming off their recent ‘StarDisc’ release, including singles “Lead the Way,” “Booster Ignition,” “Under My Skin,” and  “Do You Feel Loved,’ the last two pulling in 2.54M and 2.17M streams, respectively.

They have upcoming festival sets at EDC Orlando, Freaky Deaky, Decadance, Give Thanks, and headline shows at Revel and The Vanguard, as part of their Voyager Tour.

Excision recently concluded the ninth edition of Lost Lands, as well as the eight edition Bass Canyon, where SLANDER and Excision performed a B2B set for the first time in 7 years. He recently performed at renowned festivals including Escape Halloween, Hulaween, HEX Rawhide, and has upcoming tour dates at The Rave Milwaukee, Echoa Ridge, and Decadence.

Blanke previously remixed SLANDER’s single “Potions,” drawing tastemaker support from Gryffin, Arcane, Man Cub, Ducky. He is currently on a co-headline ‘Far From Home’ Tour alongside Virtual Riot, including stops at Hollywood Palladium, San Jose Civic Center, Echostage, Rebel, The Ave, Concord Music Hall, The Complex, Silo Dallas, The Vanguard, Brooklyn Steelyard, Royale.

“It was such a great experience working with Excision and Blanke to find that perfect mesh of all of our sounds. We have only done a few triple collaborations in the past, and based on our experience we feel they push everyone involved to give their absolute best. There are usually a couple more creative speed bumps to get to the finish line, but the end result always shines so bright. We hope everyone enjoys the hard work all of us put into this record. We love it and we are grateful for the chance to work with our talented friends on something this special.”  — SLANDER

“It was awesome getting to work on this track with SLANDER and Blanke. We each brought something different to the table, and I think our styles really came together to create something unique. It’s been over five years since my last release with SLANDER, so this track marks both a long-overdue reunion and my first collaboration with Blanke after years of crossing paths in the bass music scene.” — Excision

“Can’t express how awesome it is to be collaborating with two huge huge influences and giants in the scene. Slander and I have been working on multiple collab ideas for a few years now and we’re so happy to be presenting Give You Love alongside Excision. This was so much fun to create and we hope you love it.” — Blanke
